Site Administrator control panel
The Site Administrator
control panel is a graphical user interface (GUI), or control panel, designed
to help you, the domain owner, manage your hosted domains and the services
you make available to your users.
Tour the Site Administrator control panel
The Site Administrator control panel is designed to work with Internet
Explorer 5.0 and higher and Netscape 6.2 and higher. Accessing this control
panel with other browsers might produce unpredictable results.
Using this control panel you can:
up your site's security features
your site's user accounts
the Power Tools enabled for your site
up password-protected directories
up your organization's email services
your site's directories and files
your site's usage reports
up your site's data
your site's data
To access the Site Administrator control panel from any computer
connected to the Internet, enter the following URL in a browser window:
where <example.com> is the domain name of your site and /admin
directs you to the Site Administrator Welcome page.
You can also access the Site Administrator control panel through a link
on the default home page your service provider sets up for your domain
on the Internet. However, after you replace the default home page with
your own, this link is no longer available to you.
