I already have domains registered with Mister.net, what should I do to manage my domains now? The first step is to create a new account with Mister.net. All this requires is visiting the New Account page and filling out some basic information. Once you have created your new account and are logged into the system, you can import your domains individually into your account. To do this please visit the Domain Import page and follow the instructions. What information is required to import my domain? All that you need is the domain name and domain password. If you have lost the domain password you can follow the instructions on the Domain Import page. What actually happens when I import my domain into my new account? When importing your domain into your account, you are required to have the domain password. This password proves ownership of the domain. Once you provide the required information, the domain is placed into your new domain manager for managing. When the domain is imported, it takes the current contact information on file for the domain and creates a new Account Contact for your account. It then matches up the domain contact information with that new contact. If the domain contact matches one of your Account Contacts, it will use that contact for the domain rather then creating another duplicate contact. What are Account Contacts? Account Contacts are a new feature of the Mister.net domain manager. You have the ability to add different people’s contact information on file with your account. When you are registering a domain, or update a domain’s contact information, you can either choose to use your main account information, or select from your list of contacts. When adding/editing your account contacts, you can choose if they should receive Mister.net notification emails. Why do I already have so many Account Contacts? When a domain is imported in your account, it will first check to see if an Account Contact exists in your account that matches the information on file for the domain. If it cannot find a match, it will create a new Account Contact for you. If you have multiple domains with Mister.net and each one has different contact information, then new contacts will be created for each domain that you import. Once you have imported all of your domains, you can update the contact information to different contacts. You can then delete unused contacts (contacts that are not associated with any domains). How can I renew my domain? 1) Create or Login to your account 2) Once you are logged into your account, click 'Member Center' on the left hand side, and then 'Domain Manager' right below it. This is the place that you can manage your domains, as well as import any domains you currently have with Mister.net. 3) Click on the domain you wish to renew and you will find the 'renew' button on the top of the page. Please then follow the checkout procedures to renew your domain. (If your domain does not exist in the list of domains, or your domain list is blank, you need to first import the domain into your account.
